HERITAGE SCHOOL
The Museum’s bi-monthly Saturday program celebrates McMinn County’s heritage through presentations, demonstrations, and classes. The public is invited to attend folk art demonstrations such as chair caning, woodworking, broom making, quilting, and more. Presentations feature a variety of subjects pertaining to local heritage and the history of southeast Tennessee. Heritage school is sponsored by the C. Scott and Muriel Mayfield Foundation, the Hugh M. Willson Family Foundation, and the Tennessee Arts Commission. Admission is $5 or free for Museum Members. This fee includes admission to tour the museum.
