The Museum’s bi-monthly Saturday program celebrates McMinn County’s heritage through presentations, demonstrations, and classes. The public is invited to attend folk art demonstrations such as chair caning, woodworking, quilting, and more. Presentations feature a variety of subjects pertaining to local heritage and the history of southeast Tennessee.
This program is presented once a month on a Thursday. Visitors may bring lunch or a snack and enjoy a presentation or interview featuring individuals who have helped shape our community and programs that enrich the knowledge of local heritage. You can watch History for Lunch presentations on the museum's Youtube channel here.
