Stop Creating Marketing. Start Sharing Experiences Worth Repeating.
Join Brian Ostrovsky for a Hands-On Local Unmarketing Workshop in Athens
Marketing should not feel like another job piled on top of the work you are already doing.
Useful things happen in local businesses and organizations every day: customers have great experiences, teams solve problems, volunteers make a difference, partnerships grow, and communities come together. Unfortunately, most of those moments disappear before they can help anyone understand what makes the organization valuable.
What Is Local Unmarketing?
Local Unmarketing is based on a simple idea: the best marketing often does not feel like marketing at all.
Instead of constantly trying to invent promotional content, you can add intention to things you already do, notice what is working, ask better questions, appreciate people, share useful experiences, and strengthen relationships.
The goal is not to create more busywork. It is to capture more value from the work, relationships, and experiences you already have.
During the workshop, Brian will help participants:
Strengthen their online presence
Identify stories and experiences worth sharing
Turn everyday activity into useful content
Improve how their organization appears on Google
Work through questions about Locable and other marketing tools
Make progress on a real project while help is available
Identify a clear next action they can continue after the workshop
This is not a three-hour lecture. It is a working session.
To get the most from the workshop, please bring:
A charged laptop or iPad and its charger
Questions you would like Brian’s help addressing
Photos from your business or organization
Customer reviews or testimonials
Information about upcoming events
Recent accomplishments or community involvement
Examples of projects or marketing activities you want to improve
If your organization has a Google Business Profile, make sure you can access the Google account that owns or manages it. You will not need to share your password, but you should be able to log in during the workshop.
Brian will be in the room to help you work through real challenges, complete something useful, and leave with momentum.
