Sequoyah Remembrance Day

Sequoyah Birthplace Museum in Vonore will observe Sequoyah Remembrance Day Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024 12:00-4 p.m. with free admission to the museum. Sequoyah dies in August of 1843, we do not know what day he died. So we’ve chosen the first Sunday in August to remember Sequoyah and his life.
We will have the printing press, and blacksmithing demonstrations as well others.
