Old Traditional Bluegrass

“Old Traditional Bluegrass” by Rusty Nails Bluegrass Band

Enjoy some “pickin” and “grinnin” with refreshments and old time bluegrass music played and sung by a group of fellows that love traditional music. Doug Purdy and friends will have you patting your feet and clapping your hands!  Doug said his group has been getting together for about eleven years at the Mexi Wing.  They are not really a formal band says Purdy but just a group of local guys that get together for some “good wholesome bluegrass music.” Purdy goes on to say that “each song has a story.”  Bluegrass goes back to the roots of America when Irish, Scottish and English immigrants brought their own music styles.

Afterwards, browse the Museum Antique Quilt Show.
